Welcome!

Welcome to YFC Canada’s National Ministry Conference 2026 at RockRidge Canyon in Princeton, British Columbia! Nestled in a breathtaking mountain valley and wrapped around a peaceful lake, RockRidge Canyon offers the kind of beauty and space that invites us to slow down, listen for God’s voice, and enjoy being together.

From June 26-30, 2026, our YFC body from across the country will gather in this extraordinary setting to reconnect in meaningful relationships, worship Jesus, pray expectantly, play and laugh together, learn and grow in ministry, and celebrate all that God is doing in and through Youth for Christ in Canada. This is more than just a conference; it is a shared moment in our story where we come aside as one movement—staff, volunteers, and partners—to be refreshed, envisioned, and sent back out to love and serve young people with renewed passion and hope.

This year, our theme will be ROCK STEADY: Ready to Respond. In a cultural moment where questions, doubts, and tensions feel louder than ever, we want to be a community firmly grounded in Jesus, equipped to respond wisely and compassionately to the real issues young people are facing. Together, we’ll explore what it means to stand steady on the Rock, to be ready with both courage and gentleness, and to live and lead in a way that points a watching world to the hope of the gospel.

We are also pleased to share that our special guest speaker will be Wes Huff of Apologetics Canada. Wes has become well known and widely sought after, particularly since his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, and he brings a thoughtful, engaging, and deeply biblical voice to conversations about faith, doubt, and culture. His presence with us at RockRidge Canyon will be a significant gift as we lean into this theme together, seeking to be ready to respond—to God’s call, to the needs of youth, and to the questions of our time—with confidence, clarity, and Christlike love.

Speaker

Wes Huff was born in Multan, Pakistan, and spent a portion of his childhood in the Middle East. After being diagnosed with a rare neurological condition at the age of eleven that left him paralyzed from the waist down, Wes experienced a miraculous recovery for which the doctors themselves had no medical explanation. This experience, along with a great deal of study and soul searching in his later teen years, solidified his interest in faith and in engaging the beliefs and worldview perspectives of others. He spent his high school years in Northern Ontario and currently lives in Toronto, Canada, with his wife and four children.

Wes is currently the Vice President for Apologetics Canada and has been a guest on a variety of the world’s largest public platforms. His passion to help show that the Christian faith is intellectually credible and existentially satisfying has had him participated in public dialogues, debates, and interfaith events on issues of belief and religion around the world.

He holds a BA in sociology from York University, a Masters of Theological Studies from Tyndale University, and is currently doing a PhD in New Testament at the University of Toronto’s Wycliffe College.

More information coming soon!

Children's Ministry

A children’s ministry will be available for those ages 3-17 during all Plenary Sessions & Workshops. More details to come!

Please note the times there will not be Children’s Ministry available:

  • Opening night – this will be a family friendly event!
  • Free Time
  • Day of Prayer
Volunteer

We need volunteers to help us at NMC! There are a few different volunteer opportunities and we would love it if you would share them with your spouse, teenagers (must be 16+), friends, parents, etc to consider. Check it out below and please send them our way!

  1. Be part of the RockRidge Work Crew!
  • What you will do: Work Crew responsibilities may include: dining hall set-up, table setting, serving, bussing, washing pots, pans & dishes, food preparation, housekeeping and camp clean up in the Dining Room and the Kitchen.
  • Schedule: A typical day consists of reporting an hour before each meal and remaining until after cleanup is completed. The average work day will vary based on the group’s schedule and requirements but a full day will generally be 8 hours with breaks throughout the day as determined by Property Staff in conjunction with the group schedule.
  • Why be part of the Work Crew? You’ll have fun as you serve alongside the other volunteers & RockRidge staff! The cost of your accommodation and meals is covered – that’s right, there is no charge for our Work Crew volunteers! Please note: you are responsible for the cost of getting yourself to and from RockRidge.

Apply to Volunteer

  1. Children’s Ministry
  • Do you (or does someone you know) love working with children and youth? Would you love to serve our YFC families by helping provide the Children’s Ministry at NMC this year? If so, we would love to hear from you to chat about the different opportunities and where you would like to volunteer!

Apply to Volunteer

If you have any questions or would like to sign up to volunteer please contact Sarah at events@yfc.ca

Subsidies

We are pleased to be able to offer a number of subsidies for the 2026 National Ministry Conference! It is our hope that these subsidies will help ensure that as many of our staff as possible are able to attend NMC this year without financial barrier. Though the number of subsidies is significant, there is ultimately a limited number available so if receiving a subsidy is important for your attendance at NMC we encourage you to apply as early as possible.

Day of Prayer Subsidy

All who attend the Day of Prayer may apply for a subsidy of $50 per person.

NMC Travel Subsidy

A travel subsidy of $200 per person is available for staff who are travelling from outside of the Western Region having difficulty financing their attendance at the conference. Please note: this subsidy is available to staff members only (not board members or volunteers).

NMC First Time Attendance Subsidy

We believe that the National Ministry Conference is an incredibly valuable experience for new YFC | YU staff and we want to help make it possible for them to attend NMC right away! So, we will be offering a $200 per person subsidy to staff members who will be attending NMC for the first time in 2026.

Summer Institute Subsidy

A subsidy of $375 is available to staff members who have just completed Summer Institute 2026 and who wish to attend NMC.

SUBSIDY APPLICATION PROCESS:

  1. You may apply for one or more of the above subsidies by Friday, May 29th using this form.
  2. To qualify, your Executive Director will need to verify that you require or are eligible for the subsidy. We will be in touch with your ED to confirm this.
  3. If the application is approved, a transfer will be sent to your Chapter after the conference has concluded and your attendance has been confirmed.

Apply for Subsidy

If you have any questions about the subsidies, eligibility or the application process please contact Sarah at sarah.bolton@yfc.ca
