Guided Retreats at Kingfisher Bay

YFC Canada is offering a guided spiritual retreat at Kingfisher Bay Retreat Centre, located near Lakefield, ON, from Monday, October 5th to Thursday, October 8th, 2026. The purpose of this retreat is to provide space for you to rest, renew, and refocus in a calm and peaceful setting surrounded by natural beauty.
Youth for Christ is committed to supporting the health and resiliency of our staff. You do not need to be in crisis or burnout stage to attend a retreat; rather, we would love for you to participate for rest and renewal for the next part of your journey, whatever that may be! Experience the beauty that Kingfisher Bay has to offer, and take advantage of the services of a spiritual director or counsellor (if available).
Registration is capped at 8 people for each retreat, so be sure to register early if you would like to attend

The registration deadline is September 18.
Your retreat begins on Monday (October 5th), with lunch served by an in-house chef, and ends on Thursday (October 8th), with a hearty lunch and a time to debrief before you are on your way.
Who can attend?
This retreat is open to anyone and everyone that is part of the YFC family. Staff, spouses, board members, and volunteers are welcome.
What To Expect
- A private room at a first-class retreat centre.
- Personal and group prayer exercises facilitated by a spiritual director (optional).
- The opportunity to meet with a counsellor or spiritual director (also optional) if available.
- Access to the hot tub/guided hikes/artist studio/library/paddle boats/kayaks/paddleboards.
How Much Does It Cost?
These retreats cost $535 per person and include all meals (3 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 3 suppers) and accommodations (you cover your travel costs). The cost remains low because the National Office prioritizes your spiritual health and resilience, covering 30% of the full cost.

Registered Individuals will be invoiced directly by Kingfisher Bay Retreat mid-September and will be responsible for arranging payment upon receipt, prior to the retreat.
