ABOUT KRISTI

I always felt as if the theatre was my mission field. It was a place where I could love people right where they were and let the love of Jesus flow through me. I wrote my thesis on how I felt God was calling me to be “salt and light” in the theatre community. During the last 30 years I have had the opportunity to work as a professional actress, teach more than a thousand students, and go back to graduate school to receive certification as a Graduate Laban Certified Movement Analyst.

As I am entering my 26th year as a professor at Columbia College Chicago I feel there is a greater call on my life. I am moving from helping my students empathetically embody characters in theatre to helping speakers understand their physical preferences, expand their movement vocabulary and make a greater impact in their field.

I am married to Eric and we have three amazing children and one amazing son-in-law: Sadie, her husband Elijah, Dillon and Anna. We love living in Naperville, Illinois.

During the last 30+ years, Kristi Bramlett has had the opportunity to work as a professional actress, teach college students at multiple Universities, and is a Certified Movement Analyst who works with communicators worldwide.

Kristi’s passion is helping communicators understand their movement preferences, expand their movement vocabulary beyond habits, and teach communicators to use their minds, body, and soul when delivering content.

As a movement analyst, she works with speakers to discover their authentic, connected self so that their body matches what they say for a greater impact. In this four-week class, Kristi will give you multiple tools allowing you to be more engaging in your presentations using mindful movement.

Kristi has worked with pastors to help them adjust from big stage to small screen. Her process is meant to benefit communicators and speakers and connect with God on a mind and body level.
