NMC CANCELLATION POLICY

Any individuals that cancel prior to May 27 will get a full refund (conference fees, meals & accommodations)

Any individuals that cancel May 27-Jun 11 will get partial refund (50% conference fees, 50% meals & accommodations)

Any individuals that cancel after Jun 11 will not be refunded

**Remember that cancelation notifications must be sent to both YFC Canada & RockRidge Canyon**

Transportation

Shuttle Information – Shuttle service is available and will be to and from the Kelowna airport (YLW) only.
Cost = $40 (per direction, per person)

SPEAKERS

A.J. Swoboda

Dr. A. J. Swoboda (PhD, Birmingham) is a pastor, professor, and writer. For nearly ten years, he served as a college pastor on the campus of the University of Oregon. Then, for another decade, planted and pastored a missional church in urban Portland, Oregon called Theophilus that continues to worship to this day. Currently, he is the Assistant Professor of Bible, theology, and world Christianity at Bushnell University.

As well, he leads a Doctor of Ministry program around the Holy Spirit and Leadership at Fuller Seminary and has taught at Multnomah University, London School of Theology, LIFE Pacific, and Southeastern University. He is the author of ten books, including Redeeming How we Talk (Moody), After Doubt (Brazos), and the award-winning Subversive Sabbath (Brazos). As well, he is the co-host of the “In Faith and Doubt” podcast with New Testament scholar Dr. Nijay Gupta that reaches thousands each week.

He loves Jesus deeply, has been married to Quinn for eighteen years, and is the proud father of one son, Elliot. They live and work on an urban farm in Eugene, Oregon.

As we prepare our hearts to head into Uncharted territory, consider joining us to worship and rest with the One who loves us with an Unshakeable love. The Day of Prayer includes corporate and solo time with God, music, art, and communion (all activities optional). Spiritual Directors will be available.

Arrive at RockRidge between 7-9pm on June 29th (supper not provided that day).

SUBSIDIES

NMC Travel Subsidy
There will be travel subsidies available for the 2022 National Ministry Conference. The subsidy is $200 per person and applies to staff members only (not board members or volunteers) traveling from outside the Western Region having difficulty financing their attendance at the conference.

To qualify, the Executive Director of the Chapter needs to verify that the staff member requires the subsidy and that the staff member will attend.

Please complete this application form by Friday, June 3rd. If the application is approved, a cheque will be sent to the Chapter after the conference has concluded and your attendance has been confirmed.

Day of Prayer Subsidy
All who attend the Day of Prayer may apply for a subsidy of $50 per person from YFC Canada. This amount is to help cover the costs of supper and accommodation Tuesday night.

VOLUNTEER

Would you like to volunteer at NMC?
We are looking for help in a few different areas/roles:

1) Work Crew – help in different roles around the camp, mainly helping with kitchen/meal-related duties
2) Drivers – help with transportation to and from the airport
3) Kids Programming – help with supervision and activities with our kids programming crew

We are happy to announce that we will be streaming (via Zoom) parts of NMC for staff that are unable to attend in-person. The Plenary Sessions, QDay Sessions and the Celebration Banquet will be streamed.

For staff that are graduating Foundations, the Zoom link can be shared with family and friends that want to celebrate with you during the Celebration Banquet.
