Supervision 121:
How to Provide Healthy & Effective Supervision

 

Supervision 121 is part of a larger effort to strengthen high-quality supervision that improves employee engagement, care, and effectiveness across YFC/ Youth Unlimited Canada. This 8-part course is designed to help you develop confidence and competence as you give support and direction to those you supervise. This course is based on the needs expressed by YFC missionaries, supervisors, and executive directors. Modules include:

  • the role and competencies of shepherding supervisors
  • time management
  • situational leadership
  • the supervisor as coach
  • worthy goals
  • courageous conversations
  • supervising different personalities, and
  • caring well for those you supervise

Taught by practitioners across YFC Canada this course will give you skills to lead more effectively and the opportunity to share best practices with like-minded people!

    To participate, you must commit to joining every 90-minute session to be held online on Wednesdays at 1pm Eastern on these dates:
